Welcome to Weelp.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively referred to as “Weelp”). By using Weelp, you agree to comply with these terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Purpose of the Service.
Weelp is a global safety and resilience platform that provides verified emergency numbers, educational guides, and preparedness tools to help users stay informed and act calmly during crises. Our goal is to make safety accessible, clear, and human for everyone; everywhere.
Weelp does not replace professional emergency services.
In case of immediate danger, always contact local authorities or emergency responders directly.
2. Eligibility and Account Creation.
To access certain features, you may be required to create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information and to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
3. Acceptable Use.
You agree to use Weelp responsibly and in accordance with its intended purpose. You must not:
misuse or attempt to hack the platform;
use Weelp for unlawful, harmful, or misleading purposes;
reproduce, copy, or redistribute our content without authorization;
disrupt the operation of Weelp or interfere with its servers;
collect user data without consent.
Any violation may result in account suspension or legal action.
4. Intellectual Property.
All content, design elements, logos, databases, guides, and digital materials available on Weelp are protected by intellectual property laws. They remain the exclusive property of Weelp (Marieme Seck) or its partners.
You may use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Reproduction, modification, or distribution of our content without written consent is strictly prohibited.
5. Donations and Digital Products.
Weelp may offer digital products and accept voluntary donations to support the platform.
Digital products are delivered electronically immediately after purchase; once delivered, they are non-refundable.
Donations are voluntary contributions that support Weelp’s mission; they are not refundable except in case of technical error.
All transactions are processed securely through trusted partners such as Stripe, PayPal, or Squarespace Payments.
We do not store or access your payment information.
6. Accuracy of Information.
Weelp strives to provide verified and reliable information. However, we cannot guarantee that all data, numbers, or guides are error-free, up-to-date, or suitable for every context. Users are encouraged to verify critical information with local authorities when possible.
Weelp shall not be held responsible for consequences arising from reliance on outdated or incomplete data.
7. Disclaimer of Liability.
Weelp is an informational and educational service. It does not provide medical, legal, or emergency advice. In any life-threatening or critical situation, always call official emergency services.
Weelp and its creators shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from:

By using Weelp, you accept these limitations.

Weelp integrates with third-party services for geolocation, analytics, payments, and database operations (including Mapbox, Supabase, Google Maps, Squarespace, and others). These partners operate under their own privacy and security policies. By using Weelp, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these third parties as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction.
These Terms are governed by French law and applicable European Union regulations. In case of dispute, jurisdiction shall rest with the competent courts of Paris, France, unless otherwise required by law.
