Accessibility Statement – Weelp
Last updated: October 2025
At Weelp, accessibility is an integral part of our mission; making safety clear, calm, and available to everyone, everywhere.
We are committed to ensuring that our website, mobile application, and all digital resources are accessible to the widest possible audience; regardless of ability, technology, or environment.
1. Our Commitment
Weelp was built on a principle of universal access.
This means designing tools and content that can be used by all people; including those with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities.
Our accessibility efforts are guided by international standards, including:
the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1,
the Référentiel Général d’Amélioration de l’Accessibilité (RGAA – France),
and the European Accessibility Act (2025).
We continuously strive to make our interfaces intuitive, legible, and navigable on all devices.
2. Measures Implemented
To achieve our accessibility objectives, Weelp integrates:
Semantic HTML for better screen reader interpretation;
Keyboard navigation compatibility across main sections and buttons;
Contrast-optimized color palettes for light and dark modes;
Descriptive text alternatives for icons, images, and interactive elements;
Adaptive typography with scalable and readable fonts;
Accessible forms and buttons, labeled for clarity;
Continuous testing using tools such as WAVE, AXE, and Apple VoiceOver.
Accessibility is not a static goal; it’s a constant process of improvement.
3. Current State of Compliance
The Weelp website and mobile application currently aim for compliance with WCAG 2.1 – Level AA.
While most of our features already meet or exceed these criteria, some content may still be under review or optimization.
We regularly audit our services to identify and resolve accessibility barriers.
These updates are part of our long-term design roadmap.
4. Feedback and Assistance
We welcome feedback from users, experts, and accessibility advocates.
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of Weelp, encounter a technical barrier, or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know.

5. Third-Party Content and Services
Certain sections of Weelp integrate external services, such as:
maps and geolocation tools (Mapbox, Google Maps),
payment systems (Stripe, PayPal, Squarespace),
and third-party analytics.
While we cannot fully control their accessibility, we select partners that actively maintain WCAG and ADA compliance.
We monitor these integrations regularly to ensure that accessibility remains consistent across the platform.
6. Continuous Improvement
Weelp’s team is committed to ongoing accessibility training, audits, and user testing.
As technology and global standards evolve, we adapt our design systems to ensure inclusivity for all.
Accessibility is not an afterthought; it’s embedded in our product philosophy and development process.
7. Accessibility Roadmap (2025–2026)
2025 Q4: finalize full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance for web and mobile
2026 Q2: multilingual accessibility adaptation (AR / EN / FR / ES)
2026 Q4: integrate automatic contrast and font-size adjustment tools
These milestones are part of Weelp’s long-term goal to become a model of digital accessibility for global safety platforms.
